KLARA HELQVIST . LILY MOREL . DOMONIQUE NOELLE
Most issues pick a mood and stay there. Volume 187 refuses to.
It opens in Los Angeles with Domonique Noelle, shot by Jessee B entirely in black and white, a bedroom reduced to linen, shadow, and the patience of someone who knows the camera is in no rush.
Then it crosses to Cape Town, where Wezlew catches Klara Helqvist inside a villa that seems to run on 1970s time, terracotta tile and a corded telephone and a flower behind the ear like an inside joke.
And it lands in Indonesia for the debut of Lily Morel, again through Jessee B's lens, under a bamboo rain shower with the jungle warm and close, a first chapter that already carries itself like a favorite.
